Who can file trademark opposition

As far as trademark opposition in India is concerned, Section 21 of the Trade Marks Act, 1999 provides that “any person” who wants to oppose a trademark application can do so by filing a trademark opposition.

Applicants must own a registered trademark to file an objection
Any entity/consumer/buyer/buyer who may use the goods.
If the sign is contrary to law or is prohibited by the Signs and Names Act 1950.
If the mark contains any content which is harmful to any religious sentiments of any class or section of the people.
